The reasonable solution is easy. Get government out of the way and the problem will fix itself. No doctor is going to price themselves out of the market.

100% abolish Obamacare. Pass legislation to open state lines. Pass legislation to allow for the purchase and sell of pharmaceuticals from any country. Pass legislation to increase the number of healthcare workers in America, for example I would personally be on board with allowing PAs to practice independent of doctors.

They occasionally put mail in the wrong box but overall they do fine for me. They also are able to service almost every American household every day. That's not too bad

It’s odd because you quoted a post about something entirely different. Seems to be your MO.

But I’ll gladly answer: it’s neither. It’s about personal autonomy. The last thing anyone should want is the government in charge of their healthcare. Ask Tuskegee residents how well their free government healthcare worked out

Then we will put you in the Medicare for All camp.

But the true cost is enormous, loses money most years, huge pension liability that we have not accounted for, Very poor service when you go to a post office. Everything you want in healthcare.

And most have to purchase very expensive supplemental insurance to cover what Medicare doesn't cover. My parents pay $1000/month in just supplemental insurance.

Ask the rest of the world how theres is working out now. They are not as pissed as I about their healthcare costs. I guarantee that.

Because they don’t see their healthcare costs. If you never see the money to begin with, it’s a lot different. It’s why we should end payroll deductions.

But here’s the real question. What prevents you and every liberal in America from creating a completely voluntary version of what you’re suggestion?

Non profit health insurance exists. Start one. You and the other half of the nation who agrees with you. Go for it.

Why do you want to force me and the rest of the nation into something we don’t want to participate in?

Let’s not forget that Canada as recently as a year ago was forcing native women to be neutered before they could see their newborn babies

A lot of issues with trans health care too. On top of that some of these countries are starting to offer assisted suicide. You’re even seeing articles about how much money assisted suicide saves due to the high cost of caring for the elderly in hospice care.

We all know where that is heading

$$$$. But yes probably prevented by the govt. the LAST thing govt controlled healthcare will allow is someone to make them look bad.
