Then the government needs to get in on the housing market with limits, 100% rent control, food rationing, cap auto prices, etc. Everyone will live the dream.....even those not willing to work like the idiot representative from NY wants.

Growing up in the 60's and being a military brat, I guarantee I took more vaccines than anyone else did. Just moving to Europe was a 3 days in a row trip to get 6 to 7 shots each time. I'd like to know what the military gave me when I was young.
I can honestly say though that I only get a cold about every 5 to 7 years and I never get a headache.

If the proposed legislation is based on Medicare/Medicaid, then it will utilize private companies to administer the actual plans. That is not a bad thing. Health care costs are stupid and it is partially because of the companies that manage portions of the business for insurers. I have consulted for a couple of healthcare companies in Nashville. If most folks had an inkling of how much they charge the government and paid their employees, they'd be behind this bill in no time flat.

You pay taxes and those taxes "help" the nation. You just have a problem with paying taxes or want to pick and choose where those taxes are spent. We just gave Israel 3+ billion dollars. If the idea of Americans helping Americans doesn't bother you, you should be pissed.

Republicans better come up with a reasonable solution for healthcare. Savings accounts, co-ops and other crazy ideas won’t cut it. Americans deserve a reasonable “safety net” system if they don’t have access to the private insurance.

Medicare for all will mean Medicare for none. Waits for care will be long. Drs will work their 8 hours and nothing more for their govt paycheck. And cost will be massive. We’ll pay for everything thru taxes, high taxes.

Like your Postal Service? You’ll love national healthcare.
