Honestly, as a diehard Dodgers fan, I sorta am too. I guess I wouldn't have complained if he went to LA but I was hoping early on the Dodgers wouldn't pursue him, at least for a longterm contract like he was demanding. I know he's a great player but I think it ties up too much money for too long and given the Dodgers' depth it wouldn't have added enough wins to warrant the exorbitant cost.

Admittedly, it wouldn't have been too hard to get on board with if it happened though.

Did you actually read the article as well? It says that the original story about the WhatsApp being a hoax but that people have put it inside of videos they are uploading to YouTube and that stuff is real.

The article says that people like you allow the hoax to spread there will probably be attention seeking copycats. So, uh... in the absence of definitive proof (which we would have hard copies of were it to be the least bit real)... stop.

My daughter saw the image in a video but we have no idea what it said. She got me and I told her just to watch something else.

Probably was an illegitimate upload like some suggested but little kids aren't checking validity. My daughter isn't trying to pirate anything, she just clicks from the related list.
Either way, no big deal if your child involves you when something seems off, like my girl chose to.

Wow another Dodger fan in this forum is refreshing.I was beginning to think I was the only one👀there are a lot of braves fans in here lol!!.So I just Scroll and read but my only pet peeve with the Dodgers this “offseason” is they let one of their dominant promising bats go in “Puig” and didn’t replace him with a “Harper” like player.The Dodgers this year in my opinion seen how tough it was to beat a team with a strong bullpen like Milwaukee displayed against them in the post season and made “defense “ a huge priority this offseason instead of “Offense”.Another issue I have as a dodgers fan is they should have let kershaw go a long time ago in my opinion,he chokes in the post season stays hurt and he isn’t worth the money they are paying him.“Greinke” should have gotten Kershaws big contract the last year they were played together.that following offseason was the same year the organization was debating on who they should give the Ace contract to and they picked kershaw.Go Dodgers!!

I think they end up with an extra bye week, don't follow close enough to know why. Probably just schedules.

lol yeah, try posting in the Dodgers thread in the MLB forum. Crickets.

I liked the addition of Pollock though. I think his injury issues have been more about happenstance than durability, and he could be a solid righty bat locking down center with a good glove. So with Belli primarily in right there are good options in left already. No reason to go big on Harper.

I still like Kersh, hope he gets it together this year. I just can't wait for the season to get started. Need to get to an April game for sure.

Braves have spent 29 million. There is no excuse for this. They haven't tried to get better. The division rivals are trying to win the WS. I'm fed up. Really wish MLB would expand and TN would get a team owned by an egotistical billionaire. It's frustrating rooting for a media conglomerate that cares more about real estate than winning.

Zackly! Was the best team in baseball and had won consecutive World Series BEFORE him and won ONE total with him on the roster. They also only paid a portion of his salary because the Rangers picked up the rest. They printed money from their broadcast deal and it still gutted their team. Who’s the last team to mega-deal a free agent and win a World Series as a net result?

I never cared if they signed Harper or Machado. My problem is that they haven't done anything! 29 million is it and they are under their payroll from last year! They haven't added a starter for the rotation, they haven't added a piece to the bullpen, and you can argue that they are worse at RF and at catcher in the lineup. Meanwhile the rest of the division did this:



There were many moves the Braves could have made. But they decided to shop at the Walmart bargain bin.
