Can someone explain to me how a guy that implodes at the most crucial moments continues to start? He is supposed to be the leader of this team and he has a complete "me first" moment by getting a personal foul and killing us against Florida. As a leader is this really what you want? His production has been fine and I have been a fan of his in the past. I just cant stomach his game turning mistakes any longer. Give Creer and Poole more carries.
good point. It was a much bigger deal back when the best runner, Brown, held the record and when another all time type was chasing him. Now it's more about longevity.I don't see Emmitt Smith as the NFL's best running back, but he's on top yardage-wise. It's not a big deal.
Jim Brown wasn't a home run threat. He was a beast. It's amazing how we see some of the homerun threats as the greats, but someone that grinds it out and is undersized doing it isn't Top 5 material even though he has records.
