Congress Criminal Referral Clinton, Comey, McCabe, Lynch, Strzok, and Page to DOJ

It's really ironic that anytime some one questioned anything about Obama ... from school records to citizenship, it was quashed. Nobody had legal standing to question anything. With Trump it's always open season. A real double standard.
Trump is probably thinking that he should have identified and run as a black, transgender Democrat about now. He would be celebrated by the crazies.

We need a true, unbiased Special Prosecutor to investigate all of this crap.

Trump has the power to appoint one.

Unfortunately, your odds of capturing Bigfoot are greater than finding an unbiased prosecutor. Everybody , especially at that level have biases and political motives.
I think one can have political bias and not let it impact their job.

Either way though, something needs to be done about this. Someone(or a plurality) needs to pay for this attempted coup against a sitting President of the United States.

Even before all of this, we knew that the FBI was spying on members of the Trump campaign and that they were wire-tapping Trump tower.

Once Trump won the election, they would continue to conspire against the newly elected POTUS.

McCabe says Rosenstein was 'absolutely serious' about secretly recording Trump

The FBI/DOJ wanted to wire Rosenstein (He was complicit) so that he could secretly record conversations with the President. These recordings would then be played to Trump's cabinet members to make a case for invoking the 25th Amendment to remove a duly elected POTUS. In addition, we also know that at around the same time, the FBI launched a bogus investigation into Trump for what is essentially treason because he fired one of their own (Comey). This is the attempted coup that happened more than 100 days into Trump's presidency.

Strzok and Page both were within the FBI when both Operation Crossfire Hurricane and the coup attempt were taking place. Based on the IG report, there were other unnamed FBI agents involved as well.

I'm kinda with Stew on this one. Maybe Rod was a "double agent" of some sort that was flushing out the rot in the DOJ by making it seem like he was in on a conspiracy to get rid of Trump.

There aren't many good reasons why he's still around.

It's 100% conjecture at this point but I think it's obvious that neither party wanted Trump elected and it lends credence that both parties colluded to do something once he was elected. I also think it gives validity to "the deep state". I think republicans in office are walking a tight rope trying to figure out which side to take. On one hand do you go all in on Trump and risk siding with a president that could crash and burn or do you alienate yourself from him while his policies become successful and risk not having him on your side come reelection time. Meanwhile the democrats move further and further toward socialism/communism.

It's like the plot of one of those bad movies from the 80s where the Soviets and Americans would team up to stop the "threat" from a third party.

I've been mulling this and it still seems plausible. With Barr in the picture, I would expect things to get more interesting.

The McCabe stuff should be a giant Pandora's box. If nothing comes out of it, something is definitely not what it seems.

As I told someone else (maybe you, don't know), all pieces fit into the puzzle.

Rod is the piece that we don't know how to fit yet. But make no mistake, he's certainly in there.

I think I'd go with "third grader" and those conspiring against him are just the more literate of the third grade class. It's been said many times before, but if these are the best we can come up with to lead the country, we are in deep doo doo.

Double agent, huh?

If [RR] is dirty, Mueller must also be dirty.

Theories.. GV is apparently leaning towards Rod being a good guy, in he was trying to expose the bad guys in the DOJ/FBI.

Mine, I'm not sure, but thinking Rod might not be as hostile to Trump as people believe. I also have a notion that their could be a coordinated roll-out of damaging info on Trump. If that's the case, we should expect to see more from others, including those mysterious cabinet members.

Maybe Rod has been a double agent, but who's getting double-crossed?

Are you paying attention?

If yes, what are you paying attention to?

Don't forget the possibility that you end up tied to a guy proven to have been indebted to the Russians, manipulated by them, and doing their bidding such that he is an even bigger blight on the GOP's next 50 years than Nixon ever was.
