It’s interesting to me that our class is virtually identical to the national champion Clemson class. The only reason they’re ahead of us is because they have 27 players and we only have 21.

They have 1 five star, 12 four stars, and 14 three stars and an avg player ranking of 90.32. I think they’re done for this class but not sure.

After Wednesday, we’ll have 2 five stars, 10 four stars, and don’t know about 3 stars. Cox won’t be in this class so that leaves us with 9 three stars. Of course we may add Solomon not sure. If Pickens surprises we’d have 3 five stars.

Currently our player ranking is 89.88 which will go up into the 90s when Cox is gone and Wright signs.

Not bad for a 4-8, 5-7 team.

Agreed. I look forward to real coaches developing these dudes. I think we can be a force soon.

That’s what Clemson does. They don’t recruit like Bama and GA. They trust their evaluations and development. That’s what Pruitt is doing. But Clemson always has high class averages. This class will have a high class average for us even tho it will be lower ranked because of taking less players. Clemson has done that many times. Granted, Clemson plays in a weak conference, but they’re still the best team in the country because of development and coaching.

Just an interesting point

Nine 3 stars I think. Depends on which site you look at. Crouch is rated 4 star on 247 and rivals. Wright would be the only 5 star

I hear what people are saying, but if Wright is all we get on NSD, I will feel let down. Not saying this is a bad class in anyway, but y'all can't tell me you haven't built yourself up for a stronger finish. I wouldn't even call it disappointment. I'm not disappointed with the overall class. It's just not living up to the hype that I've admittedly self-created for the end.

I don’t see how any couldn’t agree with this. I love the class, but it’ll be disappointing if we don’t get Pickens or Henry To because we were convinced last week that at least Henry was a Vol

That’s why some are complaining about early signing period, has taken a lot of the excitement of February signing period. Too much time in between, IMO.

ESD ain’t going anywhere. I do think it’ll self regulate tho. Enough cautionary tales music chairs coach’s version to sway more and more to go the Darnell Wright route imo.
