But schools like LSU can literally tell instate kids to go **** themselves every day until the morning of NSD and then if they offer, it's an automatic commitment.

So I can see how this has gone down. We've offered the step-brother a PWO position, but A&M says no, we'll make step-brother The 12th Man. Of course, there won't be any scholarship with that, but you can run down the field on kickoffs like that long haired guy who got away with targeting on Evan Berry and graduated after 7 years. Whatever, 18 year old kids are going to make 18 year old kid decisions sometimes.

I have the same question ? I mean how do you get offended if a SEC school offers you a PWO spot when you currently to my knowledge do not have any power 5 offers at all ? last I heard of his brother he was supposedly in the hospital with a really bad leg injury or something .

Since he is apparently not coming to Tennessee, why don’t you enlighten all of us as to why he would not even give the coaches a visit this weekend and why he is not going to Tennessee? Are his feelings hurt that we did not offer on the spot when he camped?

I wouldn't be suprised if fisher went dirty here with those old FSU rumors. AM is even more desparate than we are for ILB

I am going to pull an OD and respond to myself.

Some of these kids are never going to make it in the real world, if football does not pan out for them. One of my good friends in vet school was not accepted multiple times, and then he got in to our class as an alternate. Every time he was not accepted, he did not take his ball and go home and cry, but he went and studied and worked harder to improve his VCAT test score. The admissions committee told him that the only way he could improve his chances to get in was to improve his test score, because his GPA was a little lower than what they usually accepted in a vet student. He is very successful as a veterinarian today and practice owner. Ask him if he was offended, when he received a call that he had been accepted as an alternate because someone did not take the spot they were given. He sure didn’t say he was offended try didn’t accept him a few years earlier... he told the associate dean that he would be there shortly for orientation.

These kids need to get over themselves and feeling entitled!

This. Toot is the game changer that hurts. I like russell ability but can't stand drama queens that think they aren't better than they are. He isn't a guy you break the bank for. So if bidding got to the point to where it wasn't worth it then move on. If I'm Pruitt I mark a line through dyersburg as a no visit moving forward. Not worth the resources.
