The old party formed as a response to oppression. Not saying all their views were ideal by any means, but extreme oppression is going to lead to radical views.

The new black panther party is a hate group. If they expressed support for Obama, he would have been right disavow them.

They did endorse him, I don't know if he publicly disavowed them or not. I know Trump has spoken out against the KKK so again, what's the difference? Why is one a racist because of a fringe groups support and the other isn't?

It's another paid holiday for govt employees, that would make 11 in total. Want to combine a couple and do it, fine, but we don't need another one. Plus they can't mandate the private sector offer the same.

Holiday aside, there are several alternatives that would make it more convenient to vote.

The fact that in 2019 people are still having to stand in long lines is silly.
