Sorry, a little late
They have them. My first job out of school was a touring gig based out Missoula, MT. We all had trucks that the company put what were essentially whistles in the grills. These emitted a high frequency that was supposed to give deer and elk plenty of warning.I wonder if a high-pitched sound that's inaudible to humans would get them to move?
Moose and elk are far worse. They are so tall that they come crashing through your windshield and driver & the animal are both dead. I don't know the statistics, but when I lived in Canada there were drivers killed every year after hitting a moose.
NV31, I am not saying that our guys won’t play with that same aggression and physicality against Kentucky. I think we can play as physical as any team in the country, however, the refs will call fouls on us when we play physical, especially against Kentucky. And especially in Rupp Arena. We all know that on this board. That is why I’m saying I think we have a hard time beating them there, Because the game will not be called favorably for us by the zebras. I believe in this team going up against any team they face, as long as the game is called consistently on both end of the court by the refs. My concern is that against the blue bloods, it won’t be.And you don't think our boys would play with some aggression vs KY? They most definitely will play with a different attitude vs a KY than a Vandy type team.
This is why our kids will always have a chip because our own fans still don't believ in them vs blue bloods

Total weight loss - from slim 182 to current 122. Photo is close up of the pancreas area, weight loss will allow you to identify swelling seen in graphic further down.
CT scan shows hardened calcium covering entire pancreas, no cure.
Specialist also believes there is a calcium blockage in the pancreatic duct. The duct should be an average of 2.5 mm, mine was 7 last yr and 9mm this year.

This stops enzymes from breaking down any food and is extremely painful. Also, an occasional burst of excessive enzymes that eat at my insides in a form of acute pancreatitis (hospitalization)
Forward plan in order.
1.Exploratory scope with camera, possible procedure:
Oral scope through stomach to pancreas entrance.
Possible results
A. "net removal" of blockage.
B. Next procedure due to size of blockage
C. "Complete mess" look for different solutions.
2. Back to duct entrance to install a stint and hope for assistance in removal
3. Two different attempts according to previous data/results.
3(a) - sent to a different part of the country for sonic pulses:
Sonic blast waves from outside of pancreas in an attempt to explode calcium in the duct to removable pieces. Possible enternal damage and bleeding.
3(b) - surgery to install a tube connecting to bottom of pancreas, bypassing duct. Enzymes would have to back flush to stomach. Not the best solution.
All options have a probable risk of dangerous acute pancreatitis reoccurrences.
Tl;dr
There just is no final cure for the pancreas as a whole but the duct repair could absolutely give me my life back for the most part.
Truth is, I've spent all that I have and will struggle mightily to afford the first procedure. I see no possibility of being able to financially continue past that point.
Shouldn't be working until some pressure can be relieved but not working is absolutely not an option. But maybe something will happen to allow these things to happen. Anyone have a lucrative job opening
It's a long shot financially but with a wife and 2 kids that are so dependant on me, I have to try everything I can to extend my time for/with them. Please keep me and them in your thoughts and prayers, it means so much to me. I'm determined to stay positive but will really need the emotional backing from my VN extended family.
Hoodies are. Definitely did not lol at an injury. Probably cleaning up a previous injury since he is here now with excellent doctors looking after. That happens alot and should. Get it out of the way quickly so they can put their all into training hard. Imo
Sometimes the helpers benefit as much as or more than the helped. The amazing people here have offered assistance, including @Atlanta VOL.
It's been me that's not wanted this. If something comes up where I can work for for a chance to improve my situation, hope y'all keep me in mind.
Just can't accept anything without earning it though.
But thank you so much for the thoughts.
Love ya guys.
So, if a walk on is given a scholarship after one year, it doesn’t count against the 25 number for a class, but it will count against the 85 total scholarships, correct?can get put on scholly after 1 year without counting toward annual numbers, used to be 2. Would think more instate kids might go for that. Get a bunch of Rudys in here, at least a couple will surprise.
That’s correct, we had 3 PWO’s on scholarship last year. Those guys may or may not be back on scholarship this year, depends on where we fall with the 85 limit. So, if a walk on is given a scholarship after one year, it doesn’t count against the 25 number for a class, but it will count against the 85 total scholarships, correct?
