About the actual talent?
Edit:
I don't understand?
I care very much about the actual talent and not worried about a top 5 number on a recruiting site. Which is what I was suggesting to Bass.
Are you agreeing or saying you don't care about the talent?
who cares about rivals rankings.

I was thinking about that last night. That was just a legendary performance. We may lose him to the NBA a year early.

As I waked out of that gym last night I told my son that he just witnessed one of the greatest performances in our history and the young lad had a very intelligent response I thought

"It was a great game but I am not sure winning it was really worth not having grant next year"

I think he nailed it really

Butler’s always looked the part. Came in as a Freshman looking better than some of our upperclassmen.

For whatever reason, he hasn’t put it all together on the field yet. Hopefully he’s just been in need of development and will come on strong this spring and carry it over to the fall. If not, I’m not sure how much longer he’ll be in Orange.
A coach last year said Butler had all the talent to be a contributor on defense and was very intelligent. Then followed that up with Butler seems to think too much while playing instead of just reacting. Sounds like a fixable problem, imo. Looking at him in that pic, I expect him to be a factor this year

JJ Redick was a great spot up shooter but couldn't create his own shot to save his life. Depended on a lot of picks and iso plays to get open. He was able to benefit from a strong and loaded Duke interior game.

Jimmer Fredette at BYU. That guy made some insane shots and was a great ball handler and pretty much created his own shot all the time as he had to because his team sucked so bad.

We get no points for Gibbs, right? Still a valuable addition.

Yeah, that's the thing. We got Gibbs and Solomon, two former 5 stars. Some of our 4 stars were once 5 stars. We aslso "recruited" Tee, and Chaney. We are doing lights out, if you ask me especially if we close like we expct to. It's a nice problem to have - more wanting to sign than we have room for.

I'd put Dale Ellis above Allan Houston.................not taking anything away from Houston though

I think Houston gets the nod for me because he -was- the team, and anyone/everyone they played was trying to stop him. Ellis played on better teams with some good talent around him.
