If he doesn’t visit between now and signing day but gets into school somewhere this year, I’d say you’re right. If he does visit, there are too many connections to dismiss. If he ends up going JUCO, I could definitely see us being a factor at that time too.

It might make a difference in the final rankings, sure. But doesn't move us into the top 10. Russell is more of a need though, imo. We signed several DB's.

Just reading the tea leaves, I think Kristian Williams and Jammie are both back up plans to Russell. Seems like Williams is ahead of Jammie if we can beat out Oregon and Minnesota for him.

If we close with those three players, IDGAF where Rivals, 24/7, or whomever else rates our class.

iirc, Russell and Kristian Williams are both slated to visit weekend before signing day. Just reading between the lines, I’d say it’s Wright, To’oto’o, and the order for that third spot is... 1. Russell 2. Williams 3. Jammie maybe.

I think Grant stays to finish his degree. Which leaves us with Grant, Bowden, Turner, Pons, DJ Mann, Walker, Fulkerson, Josiah. I bet Bone stays honestly
