Recruit ratings are weighted exponentially, where the top of the class has a huge effect on your class rating, and the bottom half of the class has very little effect.

Greatest college performance I've ever seen was when I was in TBA and Jodie Meeks dropped 54 on the Vols in '09. I'll never forget how hot he got from the 3 line, 15-22 shooting; 10-15 3pt, 14-14 FTs, it was ridiculous and they beat a good ranked BasketVols team by 18 that night.

I’m sure that if he is going to try to play this year that there will be severe monitoring.
Doctors, trainers, coaches, family should all sign off before and after each game that playing will in no way contribute to any deterioration of his condition.
I’m sure that UT will have some kind of protocol like that in place for him.

We need games like Florida, Bama and Vandy... come March the team and us will be more confident in these situations. We used to lose these games. Now we win them. These are going to be how it is come March and we are learning now who we can count on in the clutch situation and thst we got some guys that refuse to lose

Trying to compare Grant Williams to an NBA player and I can't think of one. I think he could be a star in the league. Charles Barkley? Corlis Williamson maybe?

Those do build character but we need to develop more consistency on offense from other players besides Grant. A top 10 team will be able to isolate him much easier than Vanderbilt or Alabama but he is probably the best all around player we have had since Stokes and maybe Ernie/Bernie

I have nothing against JJ; great player.

But surely we can praise one our own for an all-time great performance w/out the obligatory:

"Hmm, that was pretty good. But have you seen Duke? Oh man, Duke! Duke rules, no question. I mean, go Vols and whatnot, but don't even get me started on them Blue Devils. Best ever."

If Rivals just drops 80% of our commits, then reaching top 5 on a site will be almost impossible.
Any idea what our class would be ranked without rivals "unbiased drops". The actual talent is all I care about.😎

I care very much about the actual talent and not worried about a top 5 number on a recruiting site. Which is what I was suggesting to Bass.
Are you agreeing or saying you don't care about the talent?

I am not doubting you at all but he is just a different kid and I think he loves college life, Barnes and the fans so much that imo I think he may stay. Just mo
