Nah I’m just having fun mocking your mental gymnastics on using one of our supposed reputable news sources ignoring regime change in the Western Hemisphere country with the largest proven oil reserves and some how using that to peg board onto the wall but you be you. But CNN was definitely “amateur hour” worthy on that lack coverage.

I referenced banners earlier. Over in the Venezuela thread yesterday I posted two news banners with time stamps on what they thought was banner worthy. Fox was on the spot with it. CNN was totally ignoring it and all in on SOtU. NBC finally caught up late. But I don’t enable NBC banners they’re trash. It’s on all three today. That’s all.

On a scale of one to trump not getting his wall - how mad are you that I gave you direct links to the liberal'st of the fakenews msm covering the story you stated wasn't being covered? Because you seem upset about this.

I suppose it's a matter of perspective though, trump getting pantsed on the national stage by nancy is something I'd definitely want below the fold if'n I was a sycophant. I guess what you see depends on where you sit.

Not if you define male and female based on levels of testosterone and estrogen or any other characteristic. Why is the only determinant reproductive organs? Some say there is more to male/female than that.
If you want to say, people (by and large) have either male or female reproductive organs, then you will not get much of an argument. The issue is much more complex goes much deeper.

Basically, I peruse other message boards. And the majority of people see this as Trump folding like a cheap suit to Pelosi.

The optics aren't good on it. Basically, the new House has been in session less than a month and Trump already appeared to cave into the Democrat whims on something as seemingly insignificant as the SOTU? What's going to happen when something really significant comes up?

Again, he (or his political advisers) best have planned a way through this or a lot of people will question his ability to perform against the opposition. He has a real narrow window to come up with something other than Tweets on the subject that makes his case that he's not willing to back down on the tough measures.

Trump did have an avenue to fight the SOTU issue. It is prescribed in the Constitution as to being "mandatory" for lack of a better term. Now, the Constitution doesn't give an exact method or time for such things, but for the last century it's been given in person from the President to both chambers of Congress. And made into a media spectacle for quite some time.

Basically, Trump could have (could have mind you) written it up to be read in Congress as Thomas Jefferson did way back when and Presidents continued to do for a century afterwards. Had he chosen this method, Pelosi would have whined about it, but frankly there was nothing she could have done since the method of transmission is not specified in Article II.

Regardless, he will need to come up with a quick plan on standing firm on everything else. Or he will start his lame duck status right now.

If you hate wasted tax dollars I’d submit there’s plenty of other higher impact areas to get upset about. The wall is trivial frankly.
