They had no running game zero nada nil. They played 15 dbs and some of these were not even on practice squads. They have no receiver to take the top off a defense. Wentz is better but with what they had to work with it is a lot more suited for Foles and that is what showed up. They resolve a couple of problems stated on offense it is better for Wentz hands down.Did it?
22.1 ppg in Foles starts
22.0 ppg in Wentz starts
To be clear, I do think that one benefit I neglected would be to simply remove that point from the dialog. It obviously doesn’t matter to me if officials are full or part time - no dog in that hunt either way. I just don’t think that making them full time would appreciably improve officiating, and I don’t think you would see many referees honing their craft when there would be no opportunities to do so in the offseason.Well, if it's their livelihood and not a part-time gig, maybe they will spend time honing their craft. Who knows? We do know that the system as it is does not work.
What am I missing with Charlton Warren? I don’t remember him doing anything here that was remarkable in his time at UT and he spent one season at Gainesville. Now UGA hires him? Maybe he is a great coach but I am not sure you could prove anything from his one year stints in the SEC
The NFL is all about the show and money. Integrity of the game is a joke. Worst OT method of any sport. Part time officials calling games in an industry/business that produces $14+ B in revenues a year. Insane. Even a newb at it would know to have the replay booth review potential targeting/defenseless player PI's. CFB is way ahead of the NFL in all of it and even they still have more than can do to improve the game.
