For a min there I thought Mark Richt had lost control of @nicksjuzunk 's 151.The editor wouldn’t let me fix the bad formatting above. Screw it... just more room for good stuff
Good for Kyle
Syracuse beat Duke not Fl St. Maybe should have though. There is a lot to be thankful for and to be excited about. And if you wanted to add a couple cherries on top:
Our acquisition of Chaney was very bad timing for UGA, and UGA getting turned down by UK's OC.
Duke men's bball lost to Fla St.
Graham about to come home?
I don't think he was sandbagging at all. I feel that with new coaching, some guys it takes the year for the light to come on. Kyle Phillips, IMO, never looked like a player that half-***ed it during games.Ok...I am glad he his doing well...but...I gotta ask the question...
Was he sandbagging this season? I mean we saw little to nothing of the player they are describing..If this is product of finally getting healthy and working with real coaches, I get it...
But...it would have been nice to see him terrorizing Drew Lock and Kyle Shurmer..
The Chaney hire will end up being much better than saying "at least" an upgrade. Its gonna allow Pruitt to focus mostly on defense.Just to recap some good vibes, in no particular order.
- Jennings is back
- Callaway too
- We lose very little talent from our previous team.
- The schedule eases up next year
- Chaney is at the very least a clear upgrade over Helton
- Tee Martin is now on staff
- Somehow, we landed Crouch
- We are going to land Wright
- Bama is losing all their coaches
- Which pushes To oto to TN
- Fitz turned down Maryland
- Kelly too
- Niedermeyer turned down someone out west
- 5* Solomon comes from Michigan
- Gibbs comes to Tennessee... where he should have been all along
- Our rivals are losing a ton of players to graduation and early NFL decisions
Careful. Some will tell you you’re being too negative. One the other hand, you’re right.Ok...I am glad he his doing well...but...I gotta ask the question...

Last yr was first time he has a real strength and conditioning. He always misses spring until sr yr. It showed in his much improved physique and performance. I don't see him being as good as they say but I think he will be solid NFL player based on his talent and effort. He will get better as he continues with improving his body. If this staff had him all 4 yrs I think you have a different view of kyle phillips as a player

He was a much better player this year than any other year here.Ok...I am glad he his doing well...but...I gotta ask the question...

Thats pretty harsh criticism. He was 3rd on the team in tackles and second in tackles for loss and sacks. Those stats were also better than anyone on UGA except Deandre Walker. Those kind of numbers as a linemen in a 3-4 are pretty good. I'd understand mentioning no showing the previous three years but he played really well for us this season.
