I think Tennessee has the momentum now. The Vols still have to survive the visit to Alabama, though, but that could be a little bit easier now with Tosh Lupoi — To'oto'o's main recruiter for the Tide — headed to the NFL.

I definitely think it's trending in the right direction for Tennessee.

I think in regards to the position coach, lupoi was a De la salle guy like Tootoo now he is leaving. That one was just about connections. Now Tennessee who has been recruiting him just as hard has a de la salle guy on staff as well and he isn’t leaving plus our coaches have been very upfront with tootoo

I actually liked where Tennessee was at prior to his visit. Henry's family, especially his dad, really likes the fit at UT and has a good relationship with Kevin Simon, who's pretty much a legend still at DLS. The official visit was very good, couldn't have gone any better and then yes, Tosh leaving for the NFL is a huge. He was very close to Henry's family and I'll be interested if he still takes the official visit. Tosh was not only his lead recruiter but really the only coach on the staff who had connected with him. Not saying he's a UT lock by any stretch but as of today, I think they're in a good spot.

Mine was more on gut feel too- I know Tennessee closed the gap significantly on the official visit and now with Tosh leaving, I think that may be enough to move UT into the lead spot. Pete Golding is still recruiting Henry, but like Greg said, Tosh was the one who connected with him, and I think Niedermeyer/Simon/Pruitt against a Tosh-less Alabama may be the difference maker here and thats why I moved the CB to Tennessee.

Ill talk with Henry tomorrow at Poly Bowl practice to get more from him too

Well we’re not landing anyone because no one knows who’s doing what on our staff. Those poor delusional guys handing out crystal ball picks don’t know your science. Huh @brown? 😉
