That’s not true at all. You can be whoever you want and say what you want. This is America.

You’ve just gotta be willing to deal with the consequences. Sounds like you aren’t.
This is true, but some of us in real life take into account that the words we speak have consequences for others not just ourselves and are unwilling to let our words get in the way of what is best for them even if we would enjoy saying them. Sounds like McGill is in a situation like that so he enjoys not having to worry about it here.

Vols bench strength make them a better team then Duke IMO.

(I’ve been a big Duke fan my whole life, and I think Coach K has out Caliparie’d Calipari, but I absolutely love what Coach Barnes has done to build this team!)

Too early to say with certainty. Also too early to not be giving Friend the benefit of the doubt.

Could have been. But we also saw plenty of it from guys like Trey Smith, Carvin, Ryan Johnson, and Jahmir Johnson, who seem by all accounts to care plenty and play hard.

My (totally speculative) opinion on the OL last year is that Helton being unready as an OC gave Friend a bit of an extra work load and probably distracted from his focus on the OL to some extent. We shouldn’t have that problem with Chaney this year. That and bringing back more experience, more time in the S&C program, and an influx of young talent bodes well for us to make a nice little step forward on the OL in 2019.
Good points, but I would add that having a roster completely full of clueless, out of shape guys, and a couple of soft, lazy and unmotivated guys is too much to ask of any position coach to fix in a season..no matter how good that coach is.
