He deleted the tweet, but he posted "End of my career and all I got was an okay thanks bye".

Just happened to catch it for the couple of minutes it was up.

I'd love to see the kid transfer and improve then land in the league. I don't see it here. Hopefully he gets a quality education and does well off the football field

No idea of the setting here, of course, but in general, I’m always surprised and disappointed how few people can do a classy “sorry, but” scene.

Thats the saddest part of all this. Here we are talking about how bad Richmond has been (and he has been BAD) but the scary thing is, apparently there wasnt anyone better that could beat him out. Just another reason why a 3-6 year rebuild should be expected.

We will have two freshman OT's coming in that could beat out Richmond. No worries.

Naah. There are plenty of of 5* that never even make it to the season or see the field. At least DR played and started long term. He just underachieved here based on our star gazing.

When I watched his HS tape, I never came away really impressed. So, I was like everyone can't be wrong about this future stud. Tape didn't lie.

Thanks for giving your all Mr. Richmond. Good luck wherever.

A bust? What the heck. The guy caught passes and TDs for us. His blocking looked lost at times. But, I'm pretty stoked he'll be playing for us this fall.

Bust has seemed to expand it's meaning recently.

Eli was a Butch fanboy who was given a scholarship while playing as a walk-on. Should be grateful to just get a paid education. Not sure what it means to go elsewhere.

Confused as to why Richmond is leaving. He has a good staff to get him to play to the best of his ability. I guess he didn't have the mental makeup to tough it out and compete with the incoming freshman. I still remember everyone chanting for Richmond at the basketball game and painting the rock to recruit him when he was in HS on a recruiting trip....I guess that is as high as it got for him while he was here.
