Florida is always gonna get theirs like any of the other top SEC teams.

That’s why i hoping for Leach so bad. I think Tennessee needs to think outside of the box Bc i don’t think we will ever be able to consistently put recruit Georgia, bama, LSU, and now jimbo at texas AM. I think anyone can pull top 15 classes here which is good enough to win big with a great HC

I don’t think just anyone can recruit top 15 classes here. I think if we recruit solid classes in the top 10-15 without guys leaving and with player development, we will be fine.

Man, the basketball team is so good. But like plays well together good. A few may get shots in the NBA, but this team plays good together and you can see the chemistry. Love watching them ball.

We have 2 other near 7 foot guys who can't even get on the court too. Hopefully Burns can develop like Kyle has.
Burns is redshirting this year

I wonder exactly what is going on here. I don't necessarily think it means he's coming to Knoxville but it is very weird he hasn't gotten an extension in Athens yet.

I wonder if he's the mystery candidate in Miami? Or I wonder if he's getting NFL calls.
His contact expires on the academic year. 5 months left. I think he stays if Coley goes to Miami. Looking like other candidates for the U, however. I just can't believe we offering $1.8M a year for an OC.

Nah that offer is 100% horseshit but I doubt we’d have to pay that to get him if he’s interested.

I’m actually intrigued by Lebby. He has a fantastic resume, knows the Briles system, and has been involved with some successful teams

I’ve definitely warmed up to the idea, especially if it means they’re gonna let him install the Briles system.

Just scanning Georgia’s board they could take or leave Chaney. You can say what you want but the guy coached one of the all time greats in Drew Brees. He’s got a track record you can’t deny even though it seems that fans seem to sour on him. I’m not sure why Georgia is sick of him—-did he call that craptastic fake punt in the SEC championship game? Hire him and Lebby in case Weinke jumps ship.

What does Brees have to do with him as a OC in 2019?

Why would u think this? I think everyone is throwing sh*t on the wall.. Seems apparent to me no one has any idea..

I’m just guessing too. I don’t think Tee was interviewed for the OC position solely. Lebby only makes like 200k at UCF so he would be an easy pull. There has been a lot of smoke about weinke leaving just like there was Helton. He may not end up leaving but i think Tee was talked too as a replacement there if anything.

The fact is Chaney’s stock is down. Georgia hasn’t extended him and the fanbase their doesn’t seem to be too concerned him leaving. In comparison to some of the other names that have been bounced around here and other places (Lebby, Tee but unproven) he’s a slam dunk hire.
