No doubt. I’m just wondering if he officially was labeled as co-OC? He had it at CSU but if I remember correctly he was associate head coach here last year.
Anyway, it’s why I’m so high on Friend getting the job straight up. Because he’s going to be part of crafting the offensive game plan anyway.
Here’s how I’m hoping this plays out given our new information:
Friend: OC/OL
Weinke: QB
Johnson: RB
Tee: WR/Co-OC/Pass game coordinator
Neids: TE
There are ways to play with this too. Tee can coach QB’s and keep the passing game coordinator title. He could also coach RB’s and move Weinke to QB’s.
I’m also guessing Lebby would be the first call to replace Weinke. Or, vice versa, you hire Lebby and Tee is the first call if Weinke leaves.
