Everything concerning UT that has happened today has been expected for over a month now, yet for some reason there are still those that have to use it as an excuse to claim the sky is falling. It's baffling honestly.

We have to show something on the field first before you can seriously compete with the big boys. If I'm a recruit and go see Bama or Georgia, the coaches are asking me "Have you seen the scores from the our last couple of games with Tennessee? Do you really want to be on that side of a massacre?". Sure some players will relish the rebuild but for the most part, winners want to be with winners. The more you win, the easier it will be to recruit. If you are close, competitive in your losses, it easier to sell the fact that the recruit is one of the final pieces needed. But when you are getting embarrassed by Mizzou, Vandy, GA, FL, and Alabama, it makes it an unbelievably hard sell.

Yes, we have a ways to go, and the magic wand is not working. Wish people didn't think now that just because you want it now you're going to get it. It is going to be a lot of hard work. I'm glad we have a coaching staff that is not afraid it. Best to enjoy being the underdog.

Cause it's playing out on TV. It does suck to watch it unfold like this.

But there haven't been any surprises, really.

You just see the gap widening. And realize it's just going to take more time.

More proof Rivals and beotch woody have it out for TN... woody liked Henry decommitted tweet. How is that guy even a rankings analyst in first place? He played a lot of NCAA Video games as intern when Shannon dumped that beotch and took the best analyst with him leading to woody being last man standing?

I 100% agree, and when you say that in here people act like you've burned the Bible. That's why we have to do things better than other schools. We can't have a freaking OC search go for 40 days, it just looks like we can't get our crap together.

It gets to all of us, but until we see improvement on the field, I doubt we see "elite" recruiting classes. That doesn't mean we can't win with good recruiting classes. We can overcome other programs and climb the ladder, but it's not going to happen overnight.
