Texas came close but Herman refused to fire his lame duck OC instead opting to just take over playcalling like he should have been doing in the first place.
And it will be a completely applicable analogy if we announce someone shortly who just finished their season, or shortly after they finish if they still are playing. But shouldn't they be worried about all these great candidates getting other jobs like the ones we've missed out on? Or missing out on recruits?
Especially after Urbs pawned beck off on him cause he didn't like his playcalling. It wasn't really that long ago that head coaches called all the plays on offense and defense. I know that sounds crazy these days, but I think if the head coach is known for being a playcaller, on offense or defense, he should probably do it at least on his side of the ball. At least until he has a coordinator trained up to call like him. Like Saban, among many others, do.No clue why he would ever give up play calling especially when rebuilding. Need to have it like riding a bike like Saban in defense before doing that
Well other than Hugh Freeze, what name that has been mentioned didn't just finish their season or bowl game? We haven't really been fishing in the pool of non bowl teams or coaches that have been out of work since Nov.And it will be a completely applicable analogy if we announce someone shortly who just finished their season, or shortly after they finish if they still are playing.
Point being that it was probably - dare I Say - 95% done. We aren’t currently in the same boat, so it seems.Well other than Hugh Freeze, what name that has been mentioned didn't just finish their season or bowl game?
