'18 GA QB Justin Fields

Looks like whoever Quincey Avery trains will start going to Ohio St. he publicly tweeted a few wks ago that Ryan Day is who he would be his top guy to send his guys to. Coming to fruition. Interested to see if that trend continues over the next few yrs...

Fields has a valid argument. Being called a racial slur by another athlete at UGA gives him all the ammo he needs to get a waiver.
Hold on, let me get this straight. He got called a racial slur by another athlete. After The identity of said athlete was found out, said athlete was kicked out of the school. Then months after the incident, Fields wants a transfer because of said athlete that is no longer a student at the school?

Sounds legit...

Situation was handled quickly and appropriately IIRC. He does not have a valid argument.

All he has to day is he feels he is endangered there due to a personal attack and the ncaa will fold. It's not a hill they're going to die on. NCAA has been handing out waivers like candy recently, no way they don't float this one.

She's not the one attacked...the sister is irrelevant.

It’s not irrelevant. The kid feels threatened, yet the player who committed the racial slurs is gone. No longer goes to Georgia. Yet Fields’ excuse to transfer is because of that or the environment at Georgia?

Well obviously the environment isn’t too bad if his sister isn’t requesting a transfer to a different school.

So you determine when someone else should feel threatened or not? Sounds logical...

Have you forgotten what county we live in? This fits the bigotry narrative perfectly. Fields and the player squashed the beef but we wouldn't want any administration board to be tied to any bigotry. He'll get a waiver if that's the route he chooses.

This.

NCAA and UGA won’t want this to flare back up. Fields gets granted a waiver and the situation is forgotten.
