He and Bill Battle are on par in my lifetime. Both started out good with another man's players. They left the program in shambles. Battle because he never recruited anyone good. Butch because he forgot strength and conditioning is a thing that players need to participate in.

We always fire our coaches one year too late. Dooley should have been fired a year earlier. He wanted out and Hart wouldn't pull the trigger, so Dooley quit. He just got to stay on and get paid. Same with Butch. He wanted out, tried to get another job. He actually thought he might get the Notre Dame job. Should have kicked his ads to the curb. We let our coaches burn the place down on the way out.

Butch's 1st year= no bowl app and vandy lost just like pruitt's 1st year... I think fooley is worse b/c we had no bowl wins, not that many drafted players, and graduation rate was worse under fooley. Both were bad, I just think butch the lesser of 2 evil.

Dooley lost multiple games Bc he and his staff couldn’t count to 11. I think people are really forgetting just how miserable our program was when Dooley was coaching on a bench or.....

Butch and Battle are nothing alike. Battle won 10 his first 3 years including a sugar bowl and top 5 finish

Guess what guys. Butch is gone so let’s move on. He was so bad the guy got fired and isn’t in line for any real coaching job anytime soon. Karma is doing its job.

I don't know how it could change it anyway. I just wish more kids would see that they can go somewhere else and still get quality coaching. The NCs Bama are winning are starting to look worthless because..I mean big deal..you didn't do crap but roll over teams with muuuuuch less talent than you. It doesn't impress me. Saban and his insane insatiable hunger impress me, but his teams winning don't at all.
