It was Christmas 1977. I was onboard a fast attack submarine a few miles off the coast from the port of Vladivostok. It was still the Cold War and our mission was to track the comings and goings of the Soviet submarine fleet based at the port. I was 21 years old and most of my fellow submariners on watch in the engineering spaces that Christmas Eve night were pretty much the same age, give or take a year or so.

Our watch shift was four hours long and all of us that could gathered around Maneuvering (control room) and I think we sang Christmas carols for the entire shift. We may have sang every song in the book, some probably twice. It obviously wasn’t my best Christmas but it was memorable nonetheless and as usual for almost everyone, only because of those you share it with.

To one and all who gather here, I wish for you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a joyous and prosperous happy New Year and a special shout out to all those who can’t make it home for the season, especially our men and women in uniform. May God bless you all, everyone.

Cool story. Thank you for your service. Merry Christmas!

Hmmm... SARMs

Those are extremely risky, as there is absolutely no regulation for what is actually in them, and it can vary wildly between sources. Very early to even tell if these things even work or what side effects come down the road

Could be as innocent as having a supplement spiked with it, which you didn’t know about, but it doesn’t matter. They will hold you responsible for what ends up in your body.
