The real heat is on Applewhite. Their AD came out and PUBLICLY stated anything less than a 10 win season was "completely unacceptable"! Talk about high standards lmao. If he loses Briles, dude's time there is limited.

They are now worried it's just as likely to fall through than it is to get done.

Apparently more could come out about his past issues and FSU wants a clause that if anything further gets out, they would be out of his contract clean and clear and owe him no more. That's a really risky clause to agree to. Already is paid well by UH, might just figure to stay put.

Maybe so, but there's only 1 KB. Dude is 1 call away from the GOAT at any moment. From research I've seen, he's the only consistently successful guy to run the Veer and Shoot without some serious growing pains (think Dino Babers). He also seems to continue relying on the run like his dad. Babers and other adherents have shifted it towards air raid.

At least Wake v Memphis was a great game. After the bball game vs the lil Pennies, I was more than happy to see them lose!! They talked smack about us not being in a bowl game, but they've lost to every p5 team and ranked team for a couple years now.
