I'm sick of playing it safe and frankly I'm surprised you aren't. Don't you for once want to be on the front of a great decision? We have 2 SEC wins in two years. If there was ever a time to roll dem dice and take a risk, this is it.
Playing it safe? First time head coach, first time offensive coordinator, first time defensive coordinator. We've been rolling the dice for years. Kiffin, Dooley, and Butch were all a roll of the dice.

Shot out to BruinVol

Nice call with the Samford +22.5. Good win for the basket Vols against a solid mid-major, and a nice cover as well. Was a max play 10 unit wager as well.

Awesome.

I was screaming at Rick Barnes to take out the guys when we got it to 20. Was afraid it was heading toward a bad beat.

Might be a hair late to get on this trend but I have been making serious bank betting against Mtsu. They are awful. 0/9 against the spread at this point.

loaded dice maybe. Kiffin had coached in the NFL. Dooley I guess. CBJ wasn't a roll of the dice, he had years as HC.

Pruitt sure. Helton, yes. Didn't work out with him but it didn't because his offense was boring and predictable. That is what I want to roll the dice on, an OC that brings the unpredictable.

Kiffin never even completed the one year of head coaching in the NFL. Dooley had done nothing. Butch was not considered a proven commodity. It was an extremely risky hire and it showed in the end. CBJ was a Vandy level hire.

Also, we don't know what Helton' s offense really was. I suspect Pruitt didn't trust him though to let him do what he wanted to do. I think Helton's problem was his inexperience. Definition of insanity......

How quickly we forget the only sniff of success we've had in 12 years.

So you feel like we have burned so let's play it safe with a dinosaur OC...who do you want? the Kevin Steele of offense? I don't think you have ever said.

247 calculator would put it around 10th.

Get Gray today. Keep the 3 unsigned and add those other 3.

Good class.
That would beat my prediction and make feel ecstatic..I just don't believe that Crouch or Haselwood are Vols in the end, and I have real doubts about Wright. His waiting has always bothered me...it doesnt add up at all.

The reason Butch failed was because his inexperience. When things got going he couldn't handle it. Didn't know how to handle elite level athletes. And how quickly we forget, his most successful year was when we had a cagey, boring, veteran calling the plays.

You can get veteran, innovative play callers that have done it at a four year institution. There is plenty of real estate between a dinosaur and an egg.

Ok so for OC tell us

Who you want
Who you want us to avoid
Who you think we'll get

For me:
Who you want - Yurcich
Who you want us to avoid - Propst (Osovet but to a lesser extent)
Who you think we'll get - Osovet
Who I want - Sarkisian (best fit imo)
Who to avoid - Osovet (for now)
Who do I think - Sarkisian

Who do you want? Cmon Invol, time to reveal your answer to deliver us from 14th in offense in the SEC...

Check out the Means thread . Stiff is killing it.

I know I know TWSS.

I don't understand all the fuss. It's not like we signed an entire class of these out of nowhere guys. It's one guy. This staff showed last cycle they can find guys nobody else was paying attention to or knew about. Every class in country is probably going to have a few guys it's fan base wonders why they took them. You just don't want the majority of your class like that
