Elite ranked QBs help you get over the hump in recruiting. Other recruits rally around them. Past 2 classes have been the 2nd tier QB. 2020 will be first time this staff has had the elite QB to build class around. A very well connected one at that.

Most our guys been committed so long I think most people forget how good these guys are we just signed. If you add Gray, Crouch, Wright and some grad transfers to that... its a great first full class. People expecting us to pull a Bama/UGA move are kidding themselves considering you have to recruit against them and their home grown talent is much better and they are winning

All about that QB.

Correct, just try to get to that top 10 mark, and we will be highly competitive

Being top 15 every year is good enough to win big here if you can coach.

Enjoyed Pruitt talking about each signee. Excited about the OL, DT's and DB's especially.

Thanks for sharing. I'm excited about these players that we got. Wish we could have gotten at least one today, but I really like this class. And it appears we will just wake up one morning with a tweet ssying who we've hired at OC lol.

Wow, just caught up reading the posts for today. Some of you guys may want to hide the sharp knives and put away the scissors because an OC is probably gonna be announced pretty soon. If this recruiting class turned you off, the OC hire may just push you over the edge. I spent the day playing golf and that's my plan every day until the weather get too rough. See you on the flip side.

Let’s assume EG, QC, and DW. What are our biggest remaining needs? ILB, DL, and maybe another RB? Are we done at WR?

Who are our top 5 remaining targets?

We are going to need a new philosophy on offense.
Ahhh.... My biggest fear is a comment that Pruitt made today. He said the OC position isn't really that important because it's the head coaches offensive theory is all that matters. I hope that doesn't mean what I think it means.

He really said that?

I believe top 10 is the sweet spot
Clemson recruiting is the sweet spot. They keep kids on campus and develop them. This is the first big class they’ve taken in a while. Usually they sign smaller classes of mainly elite players.

I personally would rather see this coaching staff get the most out of the guys on campus than seeing the “mass exodus” others hope for. 2017 class sucked but I still think Murphy, D. Johnson, Ignot, and maybe Calbert can be serviceable players
