My biggest thing is I don't understand why guys are surprised..I mean we pretty much knew this was not gonna be a flashy high ranked class..at least I did..

Uh. Go back to last year's threads. Everyone was trying to reassure that this staff is built for recruiting, the first ESD and the timing of replacing Butch worked against us, but 2019 was going to be top 10 for sure, maybe better. I'm happy to bump so old threads if you need a link. So far this staff won a couple that they went into as underdogs and lost a couple that they should've won, plus recruiting has been kind of 'meh'. Hopefully, AV's two surprises come through later today and we flip some prima donnas in February. The fanbase needs more than depth construction on OL and cornbread references. It ain't over, so maybe we all go home happy today.

I get excited over these kids wanting to be Vols. It's a big deal. The problem has not been the kids wanting to be Vols. The problem has been the stupidity of the UTAD/boosters who were so dumb as to believe what they were choosing as coaches could ever achieve what they expected and the kids deserved. When it became obvious, the UTAD did nothing but let it all tank and the kids lost all desire to compete.

That all changed with SchiaNO. Forget the media and supposed fans that don't get that. CJP's 5-7 record this past season is not the same as Dools and Botch, the proof was in the Auburn and UK wins. CJP is now recruiting to the weaknesses that changes the results the most. Strength across the board and great O-line play. He plans to bring the pain. With each class that follows each position group will be upgraded. Surprised some of y'all don't get that.

“Give Pruitt a full year under his belt to recruit his guys” ,we did With the elite coaching staff we have,recruiting should be a lot better than what we’ve seen so far.I am in no way shape or form taking away from this class because it’s has a good foundation to build around but so far I am not impressed Flame me.

Two really bad years and a decade of mediocrity has us here bro. Only hope is to stay ahead of the lower tier teams in SEC and climb back up. Your looking at 2-3 years if Pruitt does well.
