A buddy of mine is a recruiting coordinator for a big high school in Tennessee. He has multiple former players at big-time division one schools including two that are on teams in the college football playoff. He has heard it with his own ears before a recruiting service tell a father that for a certain amount of money a certain kid could earn a higher star rating.

I’ll take coaches who can evaluate talent and know what players have talent and bring them in like the coaches we have now over a guy like Butch who just offered anybody who had a four star rating no matter if they were injury prone or fit the system or whatever

I hope they stay to give these younger WR's we are signing a year to develop... we are not signing a lot of elite talent that can just walk out and compete in the SEC right now... OU getting 3 top 10 WRs...
