looking like we will sign who we were counting on for the most part, nothing flashy, no big names or surprises, they will go somewhere else. The positive we can take heading into next season is we still have an actual Football Coaching Staff that is really good at developing talent, so we should at least get the most out of the kids we sign, unlike the last 5yrs.

He has multiple former players at big-time division one schools including two that are on teams in the college football playoff. He has heard it with his own ears before a recruiting service tell a father that for a certain amount of money a certain kid could earn a higher star rating.

I’ll take coaches who can evaluate talent and know what players have talent and bring them in like the coaches we have now over a guy like Butch who just offered anybody who had a four star rating no matter if they were injury prone or fit the system or whatever

Listen I don’t doubt that, and I hope our coaches perform miracles. But the last ones didn’t, and when we strike out on players Bama, Georgia and Clemson are building machines with I’m not going to come

First, this is LOL coming from you since you were the one singing the recruiting praises and talking about how us losing games won't affect recruiting, which clearly it has... Based on the last few weeks and after a seemingly positive recruiting weekend (ATLVol), I was hoping we'd get a Ellis, Cain, or Haselwood surprise... We still may get one, but it is not looking that way.

I guess the only one I thought was reasonable heading into this morning was Ellis - and I suppose that’s not technically dead although it looks that way.

I know this is ESD, but at this point, I agree that he will get Top 5 classes, whom he will promptly teach how to flop and whine to the referees. He has done nothing to scare me at this point.
