yeah, i just read that on the google. could be. i've never seen one. my (mis)understanding was that they were just a cougar variant, but perhaps they are melanistic bobcats as someone mentioned earlier.

edit: that's to say that there are apparently no melanistic cougars, at least from what i've read so far...

Most people love Fitz because of his personality. Not ideal at all to lose him but it's the HC that sets his plan for what he wants the program to be. Pruitt knows what he wants his team to look like and needs to look like. Butch couldn't make up his mind. That's where problems occur. Butch made dumb drastic moves. As long as Pruitt finds a guy with a similar philosophy and personality he will be fine. Plenty of good strength coaches out there when you spend the money we are now.

It was something I gleaned from the story of how Fitz got the job. Pruitt wasn’t expecting him to be available. I thought it was FAU’s guy’s to lose but suddenly it was announced that there was a hire and it was a “game changer”.

I don't want to lose Fitz but what matters most is the coach and staff reinforcing the plan, not the man. There are a lot of high quality S&C coaches and where we failed most was in not enforcing workouts.
