Pruitt hired Fitz, he can get another

Pruitt did hire Fitz but the story is that Fitz kinda stalked Pruitt because he really wanted this job. After he was hired, UT spent a ton of money on the weight room remodel because that's what Fitz wanted. I have a hard time believing Fritz would leave after one year. We'll see.

I know where you are going with this. Are you referring to a comment made on Facebook under a post by someone about Fields transferring and telling Pruitt to get him? A guy made a comment about us having someone on staff that Pruitt told him he wouldn’t have a job, if his 4* son didn’t sign with TN, and apparently he has another son already in the NFL. Is this what you are asking about?

There are lots of people in west th that believe there are black Panthers here. They all say it sounds like a woman being murdered when they roar.

I know two people in East TN that have seen black panthers. Both were over 10 years ago though. One near Norris in Anderson County and one trees while coon hunting in New River which is in Scott County. Same thing re the women screaming.

A lot of people assuming it’ll be easy to replace Fitz seem to be ignoring how he and his teams have been very successful during his tenures and how his former players rave about him.

Losing him would be a very bad thing. Absolutely would set us back.

I guess that's him. My brother is the one talking to this fella, or reading his posts, I'm not sure. I'm not on Facebook, so I have no idea who the guy is, or what EXACTLY he's saying.

Not at all...my brother is curious. He's in a conversation with someone who has made an outrageous claim, and he was needing to know the answer to those questions.

He isn’t leaving good lord lol. Wouldn’t even make sense. Tennessee literally tore the weight room apart and built it to Fitz’s specifications. He is one of the highest paid college Strength coaches in the nation. He isn’t going anywhere.

@nicksjuzunk is smarter than anyone else on this board. He’s making me feel better about the new guy if Fitz bolts. That said, hope we get a good one who can motivate the players and, most importantly, will be loyal to the program and will plan on staying for a long time.

I don’t doubt it. Just saying they’ve also been seen in ease TN. The range for big cats can be thousands of miles depending on available habitat. Lots in Arkansas so makes sense re west tn.

I thought they were extinct in Florida. Then my buddy said he saw one outside his house while we were down there on vacation. Sure enough, there's regular sightings...

Pretty sure what we call ' black panthers' up here are actually Bobcats. Possibly a rare cougar.

They are rare, very rare. I have heard of Cougar's hunting people at Cades Cove. TWRA are trained to be able to tell a Cougar attack from a Bear attack.

Honestly, i've never seen more white tail killed on roadside than I have this year. I've seen fawns and 6 pt bucks, two actually. They are simply running out of food. TWRA HAS to lengthen hunting season. they also need to advertise or market TN as a hunting destination.

That Pruitt has threatened to fire one of his assts, that supposedly has a 4* coming up, if his kid doesn't come there. Claims his son goes to school with the kid, and the coach has told him this, or something like that. My bro is squashing it.

Yep, this is the exact conversation I was involved in. Apparently, if it’s true, you can mark it down that the kid will not be at TN, because he was apparently turned off by it.
