You poor thing, you are starved for attention today. This is what I posted and yes, it is verbatim:So bass I thought you were bringing info word for word?
“I think some people are calling Tyson Helton” (laughs)- Simonton, “I think A LOT of people are calling Tyson Helton” (laughs louder) “I bet there are no secrets in college football coaching circles about what it was like on this staff last year”-Rob Lewis. “I don’t disagree with that” -Hubbs
Hell Pruitt was first reported to have started working with receivers the bye week before the Auburn game right? Maybe he should’ve got involved sooner or just taken over play calling dutiesI know what VQ has said, and it is that Pruitt did not get involved in the offense until it was going bad. So I think we can say that Helton was not good here. Even if a head coach says we want to be a running football team, he can do that because he’s the head coach. Every head coach does that. But then Helton calls run plays on 75% of first and second down. Pruitt is not calling the plays. That’s Helton and that’s bad play calling
To me, the way they said it was more telling than them adding “I think”. They’ve heard some things. Maybe their wrong, but they’re not just speculating for no reason. But again, the only reason this would matter is if it is affecting our OC hire. Hopefully it isn’t.I just listened to the podcast. It sounded more like speculation and rambling than news being dropped. They said “I think” before each statement. JMO. Most people are going to interpret things how they want, and we definitely have some people here who want to stir people up and speculate.
Yea but the underlying issue in all of that is if Helton is telling people that Pruitt won’t let you do what you want on offense then it’s will keep us from getting a quality candidate and we might as well promote from within. (Obviously we don’t what he’s telling people, but if he was miserable here like what was put out... it wouldn’t surprise me).
Lol
You said Lewis thought Helton was calling candidates.
You poor thing he didn't say that!
You are putting words in their mouth to make them sound worse
I think the media is scrambling for talking points to justify getting paid. They're out of the loop and have nothing of true value to feed to subscribers.
If he is who he appears to be, he doesn't give 2 $h!+s about what the fans think about this.I am beginning to think that part of this could be Pruitt letting the fans know that he will do things his way and our reactionary methods will not elicit a response from him. Highly doubtful it is really that, but it has crept in my mind a bit here lately. How much is it Pruitt sending a “message” to the fans?
