On the other hand, lefties are the ones who throw temper tantrums when they don't get their way. Take away the supremacist crowd, which is an abominable aberration without a true political stance, and when has anyone seen non-libs riot? I could see libs in yellow vests when the free money doesn't keep flowing their way. The answer: cold weather and water cannon and let hell freeze over.

I think they overestimate how much the average American will come to realize that a shutdown government has a very similar effect on their lives as a full steam ahead government.

Shut it down.

I do have a problem with government employees getting a free vacation and then being paid for it when everything resumes. One or the other: work and get paid retroactively, or get time off without pay. It's not like a lot of them would be missed - the best example might that the military had to take over security clearance background checks because the Office of Personnel Management managed to build a backlog of more than 700,000 while passing the likes of Manning and Snowden ... now that's some good work. Of course, too, there's that recent story about the 100% disabled vet who murdered his wife. Anyone can apparently file for your tax refund, and the justice department including the FBI and courts can't seem to make any company liable for loss of what should be illegally held private information. And if the military is prohibited from securing our own borders, then let all those other countries take care of their own problems; we need a military for our defense - not a foreign legion.

Trump should promise immigration amnesty to all Mexican laborers who voluntarily build his beautiful wall.

We could make a reality TV show on it.

People can wait a month or longer to go see bambi in a national park. Not going to hurt them and I'm going to guess bambi will enjoy the privacy.

Why do you think building a border wall is flushing money down the toilet?

$5B would be only 0.7% of the 2018 federal defense department budget.

The cost of illegal immigration is much higher.

I don't understand the opposition to the wall.

It seems like a #RESIST group think talking point for liberals and never Trumpers.

With Trump as the leader of the right, I am surprised you have the balls to say anything about temper tantrums. Trump throws them on a daily basis.

Because a 540 mile wall is easily circumventable.

It's a $5,000,000,000 piece of wedge issue security theater that the red hats have been duped into believing is the only option. Just imagine what kind of E-verify system could be built with say ten million?
