IF UT is still "talking to people" it means:

1. They arent 100% convinced the guy we want is coming to UT and we need a plan D
2. They've been rejected by everyone like what happens every time we look for a head coach

Exactly. So we’re supposed to believe that Freeze, Briles, Yurchich or whoever else involved simply agreed to meet with Pruitt and be “interviewed” about X’s and O’s?! This whole thing is weird. Maybe Fulmer is gonna come on board and call plays next season and they are taking care of internal matters within the AD...🤪

I said that IF he knowingly reported false information. I didn’t say he did. And as someone who serves in a media capacity he ABSOLUTELY has a responsibility to try to be accurate/truthful. Apparently you struggle with reading or reading comprehension.

OK. It's over folks. We have our OC. I shook my Magic 8 Ball and it told me what I wanted to know. Our OC is none other than Vince Munch, the OL coach at Davidson College in Davidson, CC. What a relief.

Meh, Schiano, Leach, and Doreen all wanted the job. Mullen also wanted the job until Florida came along.

I doubt Matthews is talking out of his butt however I do think there is some definite wiggle room in that statement where we may not get our guy.

There's a couple of possibilities that could force us to be in a holding pattern. 1) OC is still coaching currently 2) it could be someone like Briles that requires jumping through a few more political and legal hoops.
