What are your thoughts on Joe Osovet? He obviously made a big impression on Pruitt and he left a pretty good job to become an analyst on the UT staff. I'm pretty sure Pruitt wants to groom him for a position on offense, when the time is right. Is it just too early to make room for him now?

Eh they still have to completely flip that roster, especially the front 7 on D. If they can flip Howell then Longbo will get the O going pretty quick as they have decent skill players.

No, the additional verbiage that said UT could opt to waive Helton's buyout for any move, at Pruitt's discretion. So yes, UT did sweeten the terms.

Whatever happened to Drink?

This search sucks almost as bad as the HC one. We won't be hiring anyone anytime soon.

I'd prefer we go the Yurcich from Shippensburg way. I guess that could be Propst for Pruitt.

If that was the case, it just shows how out of touch fans are with coaching. Barnes has a great staff that is capable of developing talented players but no one wants to see that. They just think you have to recruit a bunch of 5 star guys and mesh their talents. That's never been Barnes way of doing it. I think he's a lot like Pruitt in that they both can identify and develop solid players.

He and Enos had been completely silent from the time of their interview. Enos broke twitter silence yesterday with a retweet. Today Enos was announced Yurcic broke silence today in the same way. Could mean nothing but I am calling it next man up.
