He was on the team that won, so he got to smoke a cigar.

Ya'lls hatred of a guy that you loved a mere 3 years ago is pretty childish.

I do wish him well. There is no doubt he tried harder to be successful in his role at HC here than pretty much anyone posting on VN does at their chosen profession. Obviously it didn't work out but for you guys to carry this much hatred around more than 12 months after he is gone borders on obsession.

If the contract copies that were posted or linked here are correct that is the case. Of course the nay sayers simply replied that this is just how it's done and everyone knows it. I'd take the SOB to court to end the pay out or at least reduce it significantly.

Personally I think this is a good hire for them. I don't think he's a good HC but I think he would be a good OC if he can put all his focus into that and make some adjustments.
