Master P Come On Man GIF - Find & Share on GIPHYThat guy is the worst
Of overrated so called talent. We have had zero defensive talent excluding Barnett and Sutton. Look at the rest nothing to note. On offense yes some talent but of course shi!!y coaching gets you shi!!y results. Do not be fooled by the top 7 classes because they have and did fool us.Simply put:
Spin it however you want, Butch had two consensus top 7 recruiting classes. He did this after lean years. He underachieved with them in the field.
Pruitt isn’t going to match that this year. Can he coach up what he has? We shall see.
I am going to turn your frown upside down....but if I deliver you have to promise to stop bitching (by making negative posts) and just enjoy the wins and not focus on the negative things in relation to TN football and recruiting.
Its not ESD today and it sure as hell isn't feb signing period yet either...and the ink ain't dry till its dry son.
Any reports as to where the coaching staff were today yet? Which paid sites usually report that information?
Just wanted to let you guys know where things stand.
I’ve made several calls and spoken to sources throughout the day and things remain as we reported in last night’s Insider, Kendal Briles continues to be the focus. However, I’m not going to report that a deal is done until I’m told so. Things can get complicated in negotiations and at this time I’m not prepared to call it a “done deal”.
I also can’t create the news, so we’re just going to have to be patient. Taggart and the admin are working on it, I'm sure the news will come out once a new OC is in place. I’ll come back in this thread tonight if I hear anything new.
I agree to a certain point and it's not just that we lost, it's how we lost. It's the appearance that the players quit. It's the appearance that Coach Pruitt lost the team.
It sounds to me like Briles is trying to see how desperate we are. He is making all kinds of demands. I say let him go back to Houston, if he won't meet somewhere in the middle.
