Briles will do the same with negative recruiting. Probably more than Freeze. At the same time he is a mastermind of offense.

I think they are the ones that NEVER have anything good to say about the program or the coaches or the players, they always attack with weak minded conspiracy theories, think everyone cheats, could care less about morals, they think that $$ and championships are the only answers, believe that their way is the only way and can only end arguments and debates with insults, usually because of their own intelligence. And you are right, there are only a few that are really bad, the others i label attacked me when I called them all out a few months ago so I lumped them into my ignore list, some even asking to be added!

Seems like you started this thread with a broad and vague idea of calling out fans who wanted the freeze hire to go forward and then cast an umbrella over the "nega-vol" gang. some folks can be negative over select issues but be very positive fans overall. that's just my opinion by the way. going 4-8 and then 5-7 the past 2 years creates more negativity. it's just natural.

Full disclosure, I use the term troll differently than others.
I always think of someone looking for an e-fight.
VERY often just takes the 'opposite view' because they love to stir the pot. Not a question of their fandom.

No doubt, I do admit, I troll the negative Nancy NegaVols that continue to try and run the narrative as to how we all should feel about the program in a negative light. I have no problem with it as that's exactly how they've asked to be treated by acting like rear ends over every little thing!

No I certainly dont know ALL of the details. One I'm fairly confident about though is the fans are not the reason we still dont have an OC.

The real.question is; is not having an OC named this close to ESD an issue? I'm sure to those who blindly trust their "betters" it isn't. To others though, it seems obvious that players and their families will want to know the coaches they're going to be working with the next couple of years.

The fact that Freeze chose being an HC at Liberty and we still haven't hired anyone probably means that the folks running the show are having a difficult time agreeing to allow the OC the autonomy most will want.

So my guess is we will get a young unproven coach that is willing to put up with more interference than a proven coach would agree to.

You feel attacked and now you're butt-hurt by some posters on VN? That is negative in and of itself. There's a remedy for that called sunshine pumper. We're going undefeated next year and win the SECCG and have #1 seed in CFB which we will surely win.....GBO !! How you like me now ? A'ight

Creating a new thread in order to call out a specific group of individuals with whom you take issue is not "debate". As you said it is 10-15 posters and you have them on ignore. If this is the case then why start the post? Your OP in no way can be construed as constructive.

So far I feel like Coach Pruitt has put together a quality staff. I never liked the Helton hire but can certainly see why he was given the opportunity, I just didn't think he fitted in with the others. I think Pruitt is looking for a hard nosed straight to the point type personality in an OC, one that preaches toughness and discipline every snap. Based on his previous hires I think he'll do well with this one as well.

Dead wrong again, like I said, those NegaVols are not smart enough to get me butt-hurt and sunshine pumpers are never the problem, they are annoying as hell though. I'm nowhere close to being a sunshine pumper. FWIW, calling someone a sunshine pumper is usually the only defense that the negative Nancy NegaVols can come up with as an argument.

There was more to the post than calling out the NegaVols, sounds to me like you are defending them and had rather be considered one.
