Agree completely. But the Saban argument doesn’t work with us. We have a new HC and a new staff. TN is unstable from top to bottom and we need some sustained stability. 4 OCs in 4 years is okay at Bama when you have 56 4-5*s in your 2 deep.

It happens everywhere. That is one thing a young man is maybe interested in more than football or close anyway.

Technically you are insinuating that he implied that. Never did he actually say we have tons of white girls at our school that love having sex with football players. He could have been talking about dating them. I doubt it but still, you are insinuating that is what he meant. In the schiano trial there was a testimony against schiano that he had knowledge of the situation at Penn state and did nothing. Either way for what ever reason schiano wasnt fully investigated and ultimately not deemed guilty. No one wanted him because he was a terrible coach. Some choose to ride the Penn state stuff just for assurances that he wasnt hired I guess but for me and most on here we understood that he wasnt worthy of being the head coach of our university.

I know some of have wondered about whether or not it can work in the SEC and they should read these articles. Talks about how Briles especially loved massive OL and wanted a downhill physical run game to complement the spread passing attack so teams that who would try and line up 3-3-5 or had a strong front 4 and wanted to leave the leave the box bare to protect the pass would get run down and abused in the trenches. This eliminates teams from moving a DE and LBs towards the hashes to be able to help on the edge of the field. Kendall puts a much bigger emphasis, like his father did, in downhill running that is needed in the SE

I really think this can be an offense that not only survives but thrives in the SEC. Hopefully someone that knows more about Xs and Os can expand on this.
