Briles scheme demands fast receivers tho. Like 4.4 speed even at FAU. We are lacking there. I think separation over size is the name of the game in that offense.

I think you overestimate how many TRUE 4.4 receivers there are out there. They don’t litter any rosters much less those of FAU and Houston. Explosion off the line and precise well-drawn routes make these receivers look faster. That can be done with our current receivers and the incoming alphas like Keyton and Barber.

Imo Briles is a great hire if you want exciting football and are happy winning 7-9 games a year

Ark was just fine on offense under him. Their defense was the issue

I was referring to an article from FAU but ok. I did not research their receivers.
