I have interviewed people for jobs in the past. The order that people were interviewed had nothing to do with my first choice. It is always about scheduling. The interview has to be done when BOTH parties are available. TN has made no statements about ANY interviews. These rabid fans have taken the bait from reporters and anyone else that wants to post about THEIR facts. Truth is, I haven't read anything from the University so there isn't any REAL facts. It will happen when the person Pruitt wants reaches an agreement with the University. If anyone besides the University says something about the process it is just their opinion, no more no less. SMH

Briles potentially comes with even more baggage than Freeze outside of whatever may have come out from days prior to Ole Miss recently. I know he hasn’t been named yet but he’s tied up in lawsuits and there was a good bit of negative publicity when Houston picked him up. Maybe he’s clean but it seems odd that Freeze got shut down for some reason so we turn to another guy with potential issues. Maybe Freeze turned us down and Briles is a complete coincidence.

What lawsuits is Kendal tied up in? He was quoted in a lawsuit briefing allegedly making a statement about white girls at Baylor and their affinity for football players; however, I don’t think he has been named as a defendant in any lawsuits. The lawsuits that I have read about involve only Baylor Administration and Art Briles.

A "source" on another website that charges money to view claims that Kendall Briles will interview in the next couple of days. "Source" also claims that Dan Enos is in the picture.

Enos sounds about right to me. Let's hire someone who's not currently calling plays and the last two years he did at Arkansas, they ranked 8th & 8th in scoring offense in the SEC. I can see how the powers that be would see slightly worse than middle of the pack as an improvement. Let's also over-pay him and hope he figures it out on the job. Why bring in someone with proven success at the specific job you're hiring for? This is Tennessee. That's not how we do it.
