I assumed @Behr was talking about fennel seeds, which has a strong licorice flavor. Basil has a similar flavor, IMO. I fawking hate anything that tastes like licorice.
I can handle a little bit of fennel in pizza sauce. But I'm like you - not a fan of anything licorice-y.

Not wild about caraway seed either. A little goes a long way.

Looks like she got it going on! I'm diggin it aesthetically, perfect colors. Are those porcini mushrooms? Looks like it. Wish I could taste it. The bread looks good too.

Thank you Behr! The mushrooms are baby portobello. The bread is Artisan Italian bread and comes out of the oven with a crispy crust. Yum.I also really like chicken gnocchi soup.
