Cool, original opinion, bro. The fact is, you don't know if we will improve under Guarantano, and saying definitively we won't is stupid.
The same could be said at the time about:
Erik Ainge from 05 to 06
Jonathon Crompton from 08 to 09
Josh Dobbs even from 14 to 15.
Shoot, that's just THIS school in the last 12 years.
The fact is, you, along with a bunch of other people have stated such strong opinions in opposition to JG that you want him to fail just so you'll be right. You're sticking to your guns and thinking there's no way he could possibly improve, even though the offensive line could be better, the play calling could be better, the strength and conditioning could be better, JG's health could be better, the head coach himself could be better, the schedule could be better, etc.
But anyway, let me digress to say that you couldn't combat my point about Chryst, so you made an etched in concrete opinion about our starting quarterback who was on his 3rd offensive coordinator in three years, an offensive line and gameplan that helped Tennessee get to one of the the worst rushing attacks in the nation, a rookie head coach and a selection of plays where the ground game was used more than 60 percent of the time which got this team behind the sticks.
To be clear, Guarantano could suck next year. However, given context, I certainly don't think he sucked this year. I see no reason to think he will next year.
