Hope so, but this kind of a rating is far from a sure thing. Franks and Guarantano had similar ratings and it has taken each of them 3 years to even become decent.

This is a true blue chipper. Plays 7A football in a talent rich Georgia. Has offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Miami, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Texas A&M.

Should be the centerpiece of the 2020 class and help get some momentum going.

These are the types of players we need for a rebuild.

Crompton, not Ainge.

Let's assume 59th nationally is where he ends up. He would be 8 spots below Crompton. 20 ahead of JG. 40 ahead of Bray.

Decent company to be a part of, but I hope he blows them all out of the water. Step #1 is getting a better team around him than the others had.

I've been watching video of him today and was surprised to see that he has a highlight reel on youtube going all the way back to when he was in Pop Warner. He has been playing the position most of his life and he has obviously gotten some very good tutelage... and he has taken his future in football seriously for a long time now. It doesn't guarantee success at the college level but it's hard to find any negatives with this guy.

Other elite recruits sign on when you set said centerpiece. It’s how UGA got their current run going under Jacob Eason. This commit is major if we keep him.

Yep. I keep saying it but if we really want be a true player in this conference we have got to consistently be in the top 5 in recruiting. Not trying to sound like a star gazer but that's just the reality of things.

He's claimed he won't be taking other official visits unless we give him a reason to. I like most of you, kind doubt that, but it does show he's more committed than most.

A few things for people that missed things...

This kid is totally LEGIT!!!

Still just a Junior in high school he's 6'4" and 220 pounds and plays in the toughest region in Georgia and top kids around the country know about him already so he WILL recruit for us and bring in some other top kids in his 2020 class, he's a leader that other serious players want to follow.

He's already said that he's NOT going to reclassify so he's a 2020 kid but he might turn into a EE for us but for now he has a good HS Team and he's having fun and wants to play his Senior year and have that extra year to work to get better so he's more ready when he gets to K town.

He and Pruitt have already talked about him helping to recruit for his 2020 class and this kid is already working on recruiting so him having another full year to help recruit for Tennessee could also be HUGE for us.

He could become a 5* after his Senior year too.

This is a very HUGE get for Tennessee and Pruitt so be really happy and jump up and yell CORNBREAD!!!

BOOOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!!!!!!
