It effectively changes the recruiting strategy...binding or not. You land your face of the program QB and other recruits sign on...tried and true. All that leads to less blueshirt and grad transfer reaches because you want room for those stud 2020 recruits.

I assume you really know what a CB is when we’re in a QB RECRUIT’s thread. The Crystal Balls were overwhelmingly Michigan until yesterday. When that happens for another team we’re competing with for a kid it means feel bad...and it’s generally right.

I did not. I don't really follow recruiting unless it's a kid locally or somewhere I grew up (ET)

Ok...I’ll assume you’re not messing with me. Lot of these crystal ball guys heard something that made them switch their pick. They’re always digging and networking so mass activity is a dead giveaway.

Honestly I'm glad. Good to space guys out some. And CJP's legion of booms won't be fully here and ready by next year anyway. Better to hit all in-stride in 2020 or 2021.

Aaand if 2019 is a struggle, then we can "necks year" it with some hope.

While true, he is teammates with Ramel Keyton and is already trying to get another teammate, Arik Gilbert (5-star and #6 OVERALL player in 2020 class) to come with him. He is immediately recruiting and word is both from UM and UT mods that a bunch of guys want to follow him. He could end up causing a great shift for recruiting.

Not really at all. He has been visiting us for 2 years now and believes more in Pruitt and relationships he has long-term than what OC MAY be here by 2020-2023. He already knows that he is a pocket passer and that is the style Pruitt will run regardless of OC. No surprise it came down to us and Michigan. Michigan already has a load of 4 star qbs in waiting. We do not, so that helps.

From his interview he said he texted Pruitt about it and CJP only said "it will be alright" which sounds like diddly squat to me.
