Kiffin been here and gone and he wasn't above that...using women as lures in some form or fashion. Pitino at Louisville is at least rumored to have done such. Bruce Pearl came under sanction at UT for several years and he's back in the SEC. I don't have the complete scoop on Freeze but the article states the sanction period is up on 11/30. It's gonna be hard in a court of law to allow Pearl to get a coaching job in the conference and deny Freeze the same opportunity IMO. I hope we get him......we could use him. Our AD would have to keep him at least 3 years to see a viable progress and above that don't be surprised if there isn't some stiff competition for his services.

Water under a shower drain. So Hugh Freeze getting hired would make you feel even more aggrieved that Schiano wasn’t hired? Don’t feel like going to Costco to stock up on GAF’s.

1) I doubt it. If you read about what happened, it does t appear he was the leader in these charges. Yes, he hired escorts and he is a hypocrite, but some of the accusations are unfounded. Not to mention, I think he knows he will be under a microscope.

2) If Pruitt can't get it done, we have our next coach on staff. If he gets us on the right track and leaves, and all is good with Pruitt and staff, just plug the next guy in.

We have been bad for so damn long, I don't know what it feels like to watch and enjoy good football on Saturdays. I miss those days.

His past and the implications of his knowledge were justification for protesting a crap hire by a crap AD getting advice from a crap big money booster. And idgad about Schiano and our protest. Im glad he isn't UT's coach. He's not even good enough to be OSU's interim and we are 10 times the program they are.

I dont care a bit. If Schiano protest sours one on the fans at UT, fine by me. It was war and the fans/program won by whatevers means necessary.

Sorry for the misspell. Living in the Tampa area I have an understanding of Schiano on the pro level. It was not a fit. On the college level, a more intense Butch Jones. The outrage over Schiano wasn't due to Schiano vs. what the fanbase wanted the UTAD to hire as the coach. Again, they could've rolled out Pruitt and the outrage would've been similar. But with Schiano the fanbase got to latch on Penn St. and MAKE that the reason...which was BS....because Gruden or Kelly wasn't named.

To us a VN staple, you obviously GAF otherwise you wouldn't reply. :}

Funny thing, all through the season, every Tom, Dick and fan was spouting that what we needed was winning, however what it took. Now, when season is over, moral high ground.

Damn straight. This isn't church league.

We watch a lot of great athletes busting their butts and are not allowed to get paid for their services. We can go on and on about their free education, but this is a huge money making business and these kids are exploited for our enjoyment.

There is no telling how crooked some programs are run or how much money is given on a pay for play basis, but we want to get on our high morality horse any time someone gets caught.

Just win Baby. Most of this other nonsense is just noise.
