I can at least admit it, I was raising my pitchgork because of his coaching reputation. The other stuff was heresay and unfounded...at least still to this day. The more I read about it, there really was no proof linking him to it.

Freeze is a hypocrite and got himself some hookers. He paid a price and he will be hired by someone. He is a very good coach.

Thank you for being honest. That's a rarity when it comes to this subject.

Had Gruden, Belechick (sp}, or Saban had coached at Penn St. when Schiano did it would have never been brought up. Had UT announced Pruitt at that time the outrage would've been the same. The Penn St. angle made it easy to hide behind, IMO.

Depends on what you call proof. I believe McQuery who also left a kid to be raped and has no reason to lie. I believe that if Schiano wasn’t a coward a lot of victims wouldn’t have been so. “King” huh? Sounds regal. 😎

If we hired him we get:
1) possible NCAA violations
2) he's immediately looking to jump ship and be the HC somewhere. They should put in a buyout so large no one will whiff his way for 3 or 4 years, but we can sack him cheap.

If Schiano's name was Belechick, Saban, or Gruden it would never have been brought up.

See the talk about Freeze as an example. He's proven he can be Saban so his sins are irrelevant. If that's the case, the outrage over Schiano is BS.

I personally don’t care what the man does with his life, that’s on him. I’m sure he learned a heavy lesson and the man will coach somewhere, might as well be Tennessee. Or would you rather he go to bama and continue the ass beatings we’ve been getting? This is Tennessee’s chance to be relevant again.

For the record I didn’t want Schiano because he was a horrible coach and his record bared that out. I didn’t even know he was at penn state when that crap was going on.
