As i have said he could change his tune to how he approaches such hires. It would be much more silly to assume he has changed that tune than to pay attention to precedent.

I believe that in all these cases the hires and announcements were made prior to the end of the season, but they didn’t actually assume duties until the season was over. Because of that, I don’t think making a hire this week would necessarily exclude any of the candidates being mentioned.

That's plenty fair although there wasn't an announcement about Sherrer until the season was over.

That's what I would expect if enos is hired.
We would know it was happening because Bama would take him off the road but no formal announcement until they are done

So you think it's wrong to expect to see improvement on the line next year?
No, I think they could/should improve some, but I just think what we have on the roster right now, outside of Carvin and Jahmir, have a really low ceiling that they are already close to reaching. Just stop blowing assignments will help a lot, but I think physically they are just not ever going to be very good.

And you had Chubb ignored as well.

People criticize coaching decisions for every game that ends in a loss, so it's fair game to criticize losing a NC in overtime. But, overall I like what Chaney has done at Georgia, mistakes notwithstanding. When it came down to it, 2017 Alabama had better depth and a better team (still do as far as I can tell). I watch football for the week to week entertainment value and Georgia's offense has generally been entertaining to watch the last two seasons. I didn't enjoy the 2016 offense, but I'm inclined to be more forgiving when a good season doesn't end with a championship.

What are you guys hearing on your offensive staff? Is Locksley gone? If so, is Enos next in line or is Saban not comfortable giving it to him?

Some think UM may try and get Locksley back but I am not sure why as he had that job before. But some in the know say if Locks were to leave Enos would be promoted to OC.

Opposing fans aren't supposed to be measured and rational about their teams??! WTF is this?

Well, I'm getting up in years and decided a while back just to enjoy the good games and try not to persevere over the rest. I won't be able to watch the SECCG this weekend, which may be a good thing. If we somehow win, I'll watch the replay and if we don't, then I'll just never watch it and hope for a good bowl game. Should be a lot less stressful either way.:)

I do not have your self-discipline.

He had no restrictions as an assistant coach. He only received a two game suspension if hired as a head coach before November 30, 2018.

If the SEC is still trying to blackball him, this is why I would sue, if I were Freeze.

5 things to know from the NCAA's ruling on Ole Miss
This article states Freeze WASN'T given a show cause. Some assistants and admin/AD staffers got hammered, but not Freeze. He was found to be guilty of poor monitoring of the staff and boosters.

Heck, the NCAA found that he actually promoted an atmosphere of compliance.
